Hi, I'm Mike Joyce and I build homes.
When I married Jill, she told me that when all the kids (7) moved out of the house, that she was moving from Eugene, Oregon back to Traverse City to help in the family business. Before moving, I was an IT Manager for a large company called Oregon Research Institute and prior to that I worked for Jeld-Wen Windows. On the weekends you'll find me volunteering over at Safe Harbor in Traverse City.
Jill grew up in Traverse City. She left for Oregon for 25 years and is now back to help her father, Pat Noland, and his business Noland Building Development. Her first building experience was cleaning out a house at 1305 E 8th St of filth, maggots and dead fish at age 11. She went on to help develop Holiday Hills Subdivision and graduated to laying concrete blocks for commercial buildings in Logan's Landing. Building has been a tradition in her family since 1967.
